Oldest U.S. veteran, 110, attends Pearl Harbor Day ceremony

Frank Levingston is 110-years-old and is the oldest living American veteran. On Monday, he took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the National World War II Memorial to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The attack helped to propel the United States into World War II, during which time Levingston served in Italy. He enlisted in 1942 shortly after the attack occurred.
The ceremony marked the first time that Levingston had ever been to the nation’s capital, and trip coordinators said that he hoped to be able to meet President Barack Obama while he was there.
KPLC reporter Jillian Corder followed Levingston on his journey from Louisiana to D.C. for the ceremony.
