A Florida woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery after her husband passed gas too many times.

Dawn Meikle was lying in bed with her husband when, according to him, he passed gas, and she began to elbow him in the arm.

When her husband continued to pass gas, she elbowed and kicked him, eventually getting into a scuffle that left the husband with his shirt ripped open and with several scratches on his chest.

Meikle’s lip was “inadvertently split open” during the struggle when her husband tried to restrain her.

Meikle was arrested and charged with domestic battery because of the incident.
