One Denver charity decided that this year, for Christmas, they would be passing out free joints.

The charity, Cannabis Can, intended to use the giveaway as a way to raise money for the homeless.

“’Cannabis can make a difference,’ is kind of what we’re standing for,” founder Nick Dicenzo said. “Merry Christmas, Happy Cannamas — would you like some rolling papers?”

Cannabis Can intends to use the proceeds to buy some RVs, showers and bathrooms for the homeless.

“A lot of the people we spoke with really were just like, ‘If I had regular access to a shower, and a haircut my life would be so much better. I’d have so much more opportunity,’” Dicenzo said.
