Yesterday, MTV posted a picture to Instagram of Destiny’s Child, only Michelle Williams had been replaced by a different Michelle: this one the First Lady of the United States.
Some of MTV’s followers loved the photo, while other called the network out for being ‘inappropriate.’
When Williams heard about the picture, she took the whole thing in good humor.

“You guys play waaaaaaaay too much! I see the pettiness crept into 2016!!! Only because it’s the one and only @michelleobama will I even entertain this!!! This is a good one that I must laugh at!!!” she posted online.
The image, which has Michelle Obama rather than Michelle Williams, was taken down from Williams’ page but is still viewable on MTV’s with the caption, “Michelle was always my favorite Destiny’s Child.”
