It will be the first time Ariadna Gutierrez and Harvey have seen each other since the Miss Universe fiasco, so you cna bet the interview will be interesting, to say the least.
Although Gutierrez has been saying in multiple interviews that she was absolutely humiliated by the mistake in the pageant, she has since seemed to take the whole thing with a little more humor, and her decision to appear on Harvey’s show can probably be linked to a poll she put out on Twitter asking her followers if she should do a sit-down with the host.
As for Harvey, this will be a chance for him to sit down and apologize face-to-face and to talk about what happened, an opportunity he lamented earlier that he did not have.
“When I did it, it was horrible for Miss Colombia,” he admitted Tuesday on the“Steve Harvey Morning Show.” “And she’s the only one I haven’t had a chance to talk to.
“I’ve had a chance to talk to Miss Philippines. I’ve talked to all the pageant people. I’ve talked to people backstage. Even me and the director had a long talk. But I haven’t been able to reach out and talk to Miss Colombia. Now, have I tried? Yes. But haven’t gotten a response.”
