Four teens in custody for Brooklyn gang rape of 18-year-old girl

Four teens accused of gang raping an 18-year-old girl at gunpoint has been apprehended, with a fifth suspect on the run, police said on Sunday.

According to Pix11, two of the teenagers, both 15-years-old, were apprehended after their parents brought them to police when they saw the teens on surveillance footage. Two other teens, ages 14 and 17, were later apprehended by the police.

The police had been searching for five suspects who allegedly raped an 18-year-old near a Brownsville playground on Thursday.

The victim was walking with her father when the two were approached by five men. One of the men took out a handgun and told the victim’s father to “get the [expletive] out of here.” The father left and ran for help, flagging down nearby officers, but not before the men had forcibly removed the victim’s pants and had taken turns raping her at gunpoint.

The father then arrived with the police, and the suspects fled and were captured on surveillance footage from a nearby bodega.
