Angie Stone says she didn't knock her daughter's teeth out, they were 'rotten' and 'fell out'

Angie Stone sets the record straight on reports that she knocked her daughter's front teeth out...

Angie Stone and her daughter are doing better these days, but that doesn’t mean people still aren’t talking about the altercation that happened last year between them in which her daughter claimed that Stone knocked her two front teeth out.

Recently, Stone sat down for an interview on “The Steve Harvey Show” and addressed the rumors, pointedly denying having knocked out any teeth during the fight.

“No I did not knock out my daughter’s teeth,” she said. “I think that, in her defense, the tooth had probably fell out because one had fallen out a week prior to that tooth coming out. And when you have an altercation as such, you can bite down on your lip, and if a tooth is already brittle and decaying, it’s coming out.”

“If she bit down on a rotten, brittle tooth. You know when you fighting, you like…” Here, Stone mimed biting down with her mouth. “You doing something with your mouth.”

“I have said ‘Ima knock your teeth out’” she admitted.

She then went on to say, “We were definitely in an altercation and it’s not that I’m proud of it but you not going to fight me in my house. You’re not going to fight me period. I am your mother and that’s how that go. And there comes a time when you’re fighting another adult, you’ve got to defend yourself.”
