Conservative Brit starts 'white men only' scholarship fund: They are 'an underprivileged group'

Most of British journalist and entrepreneur Milo Yiannopoulos’ career has been made by clashing  with anti-PC groups, and now he’s at it again. This time, he has created the Yiannopoulos Privilege Grant, which he has started up as a scholarship for white men.

According to BuzzFeed News, the Yiannopoulos Privilege Grant is, according to the website, “exclusively available to white men who wish to pursue their post-secondary education on equal footing with their female, queer and ethnic minority classmates.”

The grant would be given yearly in amounts of $2500, with the money drawn from a pool that Yiannopoulos aims to expand to $125,000 for 50 total grants. The money comes from donors as well as from a $25,000 initial payment by Yiannopoulos himself, with the donors described by Yiannopoulos as “very famous rappers, novelists, politicians [who] are all fans of mine on the DL.”

Yiannopoulos claimed that the idea for the grants started out as a joke to “wind up social justice warriors.”

“All of my very best ideas start as mischievous jokes because they will wind up the right people,” he said.

“Young white boys do not have any advantages whatsoever and are significantly disadvantaged,” Yiannopoulos told BuzzFeed News. “We’re just trying to level the playing field for an underprivileged group.”

“Young white boys are suffering,” he said.
