The presidential puns were flowing and so was the love. President Obama sent wife Michelle a special Valentine’s Day message during an appearance on Ellen this week.
Yep, it was adorable.
With a Barry White instrumental playing in the background, the president looked into the camera and went full on romantic.
“Michelle, this Valentine’s Day I’m going to treat you right,” Obama says. “I’m going to make you some zucchini bread and then spread out some veggies on a plate, just the way you like it.”
He even threw in some plugs for ObamaCare, all while making some pretty ridiculous puns: “I love you so much. I ObamaCare about you more than you even know.”
The First Lady even made a surprise video appearance during the episode, and she had her own Valentine’s Day poem for her husband: “Roses are red, violets are blue. You are the president, and I am your boo.”
