On Wednesday, a fight broke out on a flight from Baltimore headed to Los Angeles when two women refused to turn their music down.
According to a statement made by Spirit Airlines, the two women “appeared to be intoxicated” and “were playing loud music on a boom box speaker.” The two women refused to lower the volume when other passengers asked them, reportedly challenging the other passengers by asking, “What are you going to do?”
After the plane landed, a brawl broke out in the aisles between the two women with the boom box and three other female passengers. All five women were removed from the plane by authorities.
Emerson Silva, one of the witnesses, told TODAY, “They were throwing serious punches. The ladies — they were serious.”
Airport police and the FBI also arrived on the scene. No arrests were made, but one person was cited.
