The Playboy Jazz Festival has been held at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles since 1979, and it was a tradition for some time for Bill Cosby to host the event until he passed the torch on to his hand-picked successor, George Lopez, in 2012.
On Tuesday, Lopez recalled to Howard Stern the story of Cosby’s advice to him just before his first hosting gig, in which, he said, Cosby spent much of the phone call giving him advice about oral sex.
“I probably shouldn’t say this, but f*ck it,” Lopez prefaced his confession. He went on to say that Cosby told him to keep the women in the audience and not to take them backstage.
“Five minutes had to do with jazz, and the next 40 were about eating ass,” Lopez said.
