Whoopi Goldberg, who for some time has been a marijuana advocate, is now launching marijuana products to help women find relief from menstrual cramps.
On Wednesday, Goldberg announced that she would be teaming up with Maya Elisabeth, founder of Om Edibles, in order to launch “Whoopi & Maya.”
The line of products will include Soak, an Epsom salt available in three scents; Savor, a sipping chocolate available in several sizes; and Rub, a topical oil with a beeswax base. The line will also have Relax, a THC-infused tincture that is supposedly based on a method used by England’s Queen Victoria in order to relieve menstrual cramps.

Goldberg said that she was inspired to pursue the idea for the products because of her adult granddaughters, who suffered from severe cramps. She wanted to find a method of relief that was both effective and discreet.

“This, you can put it in your purse,” Goldberg said in an interview with Vanity Fair . “You can put the rub on your lower stomach and lower back at work, and then when you get home you can get in the tub for a soak or make tea, and it allows you to continue to work throughout the day.”
