Bernie Sanders’ former staffer: “No one stole the election from us”
In the wake of the recent revelation of leaked emails from the Democratic National Convention that appear to suggest a bias in the DNC against Bernie Sanders as well as an effort to influence the election against him, many Sanders supporters have been reluctant to support Hillary Clinton, with some even saying that they will vote for Donald Trump.
Sanders’ supporters have come out in force for the convention, appearing to come out against a party system that they feel has been rigged against them. In fact, when Sanders himself appeared during the convention to try to rally support behind Hillary Clinton.
But Sanders’ former national press secretary, Symone D. Sanders, is now coming out to explain that the senator had in no way been cheated.
“I worked there,” she tweeted. “No one stole the election from us.”

“But let me be clear – NO ONE STOLE THIS ELECTION! Team Sanders we did AMAZING WORK. But we lost. It’s a hard reality for some,” she wrote. “It was a hard reality for me. Because I fought hard. Now, we won some great battles, but the reality is the system didn’t cheat us. Now the contents of the leaked emails show individuals were definitely biased, but 7 folks on an email didn’t ‘steal’ the election.”
Look, people are well within their rights to have passions and opinions. That is how we create change in this country. We need the passion!!

There are other qualms. Other valid arguments, but a stolen election is not one. I worked there. No one stole the election from us.
