“In the midst of all of this, is when she’s earned her middle name — Grace,” an emotional Pulliam told her listeners before continuing on: “What I tell you, through all of this, the grace of God, has so been with us, and has covered us, and protected us. And, he’s been my saving grace to get through it.”

She went on to say that she has resisted becoming emotional during the pregnancy in an attempt to keep her daughter safe.

“It’s knowing that it’s not about me, knowing that on days that I wanna crawl up in the bed and pull the covers up over my head, and cry til my eyes fall out, that it’s not an option, because she feels everything I feel. And right now it’s bigger than me. It’s about her. It’s about her being okay,” she said.

“And the grace of God has just covered us during this time, so I know that her name is Ella Grace, and I’m just so excited to meet her, ’cause she has some amazing things to do in this world, and I can’t wait to go and support her along her journey of becoming all that she’s destined to be.”
