Stanford rapist’s family asks cops for protection from angry citizens

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

The family of Stanford rapist Brock Turner are so worried about their son’s safety that they have asked cops for protection.

While his crime took place in California, he and his parents will be moving back to Ohio. Citizens are not pleased that Turner will be living in their area, and there have been many angry protests, so many that that authorities are even tracking social media for threatening activity.

While law enforcement has declined to share any actual threats, one source stated that “everybody is always concerned about death threats.”

Many protesters are expected to be outside his house all weekend. Some have even claimed that they will be open carrying guns during the protests, but they vowed that they have no plans to use them.

Turner was released from jail Friday morning after serving just 3 months for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman.

Turner will be required to check in with his new probation officer within 72 hours of being released. If he fails to do that, he will have to go back to California to complete his probation in that state.

“It’s safe to say that he will be out of [California] as soon as he can,” a source close to the Santa Clara County Probation Department stated.

“If he doesn’t check in with his probation officer [in Ohio] within 72 hours, then he has to check in with us, which would mean him spending the next three years here.”

He will be required to register as a sex offender, and he will be on the registry for life. That means he cannot live near schools or ever work with children.

Those living in the area in which he settles down will also receive flyers that show Turner and that advise them that a convicted sex offender is now living in their area.
