Beyoncé loses to ‘Grease: Live’ at Emmys, the Beyhive responds

Lemonade lost out on the Emmy for outstanding production design for a variety special, and the Beyhive reacted just about like you’d expect.

On Sunday night, the award went to Thomas Kail and Alex Rudzinski, the directors of Grease: Live! This meant that Beyoncé was shut out of the ‘E’ part of the coveted EGOT, which is the acronym for the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards.

“I wouldn’t want to be those guys when Kanye finds out they beat Beyoncé,” Emmys host Jimmy Kimmel joked after the directors had given their acceptance speech.

But while West hasn’t said anything yet, the Beyhive certainly wasn’t shy about expressing their discontent. Check out some of their reactions below.
