The Little Rock Police Department has released dash cam recordings of the traffic stop in which civil rights attorney John Walker, who is also a state representative, was arrested for recording a police stop.

On Monday, Walker saw a police stop and started to record it. During the stop, both the driver and passenger were arrested on outstanding warrants.

Police claimed that they told Walker to stop recording but that he instead walked into where they were working. Another man, Omavi Kuskukuru, was also arrested as police claimed that he too entered the space where they were working.

While police have issued a letter of apology to Walker and have dropped the charge against him, Kuskukuru’s charge of obstruction of governmental operations, and Walker rejected the apology.
