On Sunday, during the NFL game between the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions, a protester invaded the field wearing a gorilla suit and an ‘All Lives Matter’ tee shirt.

During the fourth quarter of the game, the protester rushed the field at the #Soldier Field Stadium. Although he was able to get around a few personnel who tried to stop him, when he tried to change directions, he slipped in the turf and fell. When he fell, five security personnel piled on top of him.

The protester was wearing a shirt that said ‘All Lives Matter’ on one side and ‘Put the guns down’ on the other side. The ‘put the guns down’ line was likely in reference to recent fatal incidents with police.

Surprisingly, the protest and its aftermath was broadcast live, even though it’s usually policy to divert cameras to keep from giving protesters the attention they want.
