The march has been organized in response to several reported incidents of clowns terrorizing people and other clown stories that have been spread on social media.
“This is a peaceful way to show clowns are not psycho killers. We want the public to feel safe, and not be afraid. So come out, bring the family, meet a clown and get a hug!” explained a flier advertising the event.
The march will be held in Tuscon, Arizona, and attendees will be wearing full clown makeup and masks.
