Donald Trump declares ‘shackles’ are gone after feud with Republican Party

Donald Trump took to Twitter to declare his independence from the Republican Party, but his choice words left many with a bad taste in their mouths.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

The Republican leadership can’t run away from Donald Trump fast enough, and the media mogul took to Twitter to declare war against House Speaker Paul Ryan as well as to declare his independence.

His word choice, however, left many with a bad taste in their mouths.

“It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to,” Trump tweeted out on Tuesday.

Trump has since been widely criticized for using language evocative of slavery as his campaign continues to struggle to recover from the 2005 tape of him using lewd language to talk about women on top of his inability to connect with minority voters.
