“3PM I’m doing it I’m sorry to my family and friends but I don’t want to be here no more this s*** too much,” Broner posted on Instagram. The 27-year-old four-weight world champion also posted a picture of a handgun in a car with the caption, “I’m going home I love ya’ll.”
Hours later, Broner’s girlfriend, Arienne Gazaway, confirmed that he was “okay.” It’s not clear what the cause of Broner’s posts was.
Family and friends tell TMZ that Broner has been taking their calls and believe he is safe and in a better place. Loved ones reportedly said they are concerned for his long-term health and want to get him help.
