Michel’le isn’t changing her upcoming TV biopic, despite the fact that Dr. Dre threatened to sue because he says the movie depicts him as an abuser.

“My only concern is that I’m not understanding is if he’s saying he never abused me at all, because I’m insulted if that’s what he’s saying,” Michel’le said in an interview with TMZ Live. “I allowed him to portray himself in his story the way he wanted to portray himself…I think my truth will stand when we get to court, if we do.”

“Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le,” the movie the singer created with Lifetime, depicts Michel’le’s relationship with Dr. Dre as well as her allegations that he abused her.

Dr. Dre threatened to sue, issuing a cease and desist letter, but Michel’le says she isn’t concerned, because what she has shown in the TV movie is the truth.

She adds that she is “confused” by Dre’s recent threat to sue, considering a year ago he apologized for being abusive to the women he hurt.

“I think he apologized to the public, because if he wanted to apologize to me he would’ve picked up the phone.”
