On Wednesday afternoon, reporter Homa Bash and her cameraman were reporting near a school in Plano, Texas, when a bystander called police on them.
The bystander had reported a “Hispanic-looking woman & black man with a suspicious white truck & camera” near the school, according to the Dallas News.

Bash took to Twitter to share the story and her tweet has been retweeted nearly 60,000 times and received more than 100,000 likes.
Bash noted that she is Indian, not Hispanic, and also thanked the Plano Police Department for the way they handled the situation.
