Jazmine Sullivan slammed for ‘RIP’ post about singer who tried to date her

Jazmine Sullivan took to social media to share her memories of late gospel singer Thomas 'TC' Clay in a post that had many raising their eyebrows.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Over the weekend, gospel singer Thomas ‘TC’ Clay was found dead in his hotel room, and Jazmine Sullivan took to social media to share her memories of him in a post that had many raising their eyebrows.

“I didn’t know Tc very well. What I do know is I gave him my number accidentally thru a friend and he reached out consistently for a year. I think I replied maybe 3 times but that never stopped him from writing me. He was DETERMINED lol,” the singer allegedly wrote in what appears to be a since-deleted post, going on to describe how he brought her flowers and sang her a song.

She said that she had realized how gifted he was when he “made up an entire 5 min song abt me” and went on to say that she was “enraptured w his gift.”

Sullivan rounded out the post with a picture of herself saying, “Just know I was YOUR fan Tc!!! (Cuz I know u still gotta crush on me in heaven and u listening).”

Sullivan was dragged all over the Twittersphere for the eulogy, which she has since deleted, as many users claimed that it was self-centered to write a eulogy about herself more than about TC.
