New Clinton campaign ad aimed at black voters set in barbershop, hair salon

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

The presidential election is in two weeks, and Hillary Clinton is pulling out all the stops to try to get out the vote, including a new, recently released ad that takes place in a barbershop and features people of color.

“Let’s go Hillary,” a man in a barber’s chair says during the 30-second spot. “That’s my opinion.”

“Her resume speaks for itself,” says a customer.

The scene shifts to a salon as a hairdresser says, “I don’t want someone running the country as a business. I’m a human being.”

The ad comes as polls show that Clinton is struggling to get out the black vote come November 8, though Donald Trump is polling at less than one percent with that voter bloc.
