Donald Trump Jr. helps stranded black motorist in Arizona

On Thursday, Donald Trump Jr. was in between campaign stops in Arizona when he noticed a stranded motorist on the side of the road.

Rather than pass by, the eldest son of Donald Trump stopped to help the motorist, a black woman.

Tyler Bowyer, chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Party, was traveling with the younger Trump and recalled that the woman was “surprised” when she learned Trump’s identity.

“She was just stunned. She was taken aback,” Bowyer told the Arizona Republic. “She was like, ‘Man, I have to be able to tell people about this.’ So we made him get out and take a picture. And that was it.”

The picture was posted to Facebook, and Bowyer again expressed surprise that he had stopped to do this good deed.

“I’ve been around a lot of politicians. Most would just freak out or go around,” Bowyer said. “But Don Jr. … before you can blink, he’s out there pushing the car.”
