‘Enough of the damn emails’: Tyra Banks comes to Hillary Clinton’s defense

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Supermodel Tyra Banks was on CNN Saturday talking about her support for Hillary Clinton for president.

When asked by anchor Fredricka Whitfield if it is harder to support Clinton with the FBI announcing that they are looking into new emails, Banks replied, “I actually don’t think there’s anything new. To quote Bernie Sanders, ‘enough of the damn emails.’ We are here to unite the country, to have hope and not to have hate. That is why I’m here. So enough of that.”

Banks went on to say that when Clinton was on her show back in 2008, she declined to look at the questions in advance of the interview.

“So I asked her, when she got to the set, right before she was about to walk out, I said, ‘Why did you do that?’ And she said, ‘I just want to be real, raw, prepared for whatever you want to talk about, and I trust I’m going to be able to rise to the occasion of whatever you say.’ I was just like, ‘Oh, my gosh.’ That’s unheard of,” Banks said.
