That’s why Howard University is relaunching its College Republicans chapter, with an event called “Politico” that branded itself as a networking opportunity as well as a chance for students to hear from guest speakers. Morehouse College and Central State University also have College Republicans chapters.

Leah Victoria Levell, who was hired to serve on the Strategic Initiatives team of the Republican National Committee and whose focus is on working with HBCUs, said of the relaunch for Howard University: “The fact that we made this happen during an election like this one is awesome!”
