Bounce TV to air ‘The Cosby Show’, ending network ban

Bounce TV will start airing The Cosby Show again starting on Dec. 19.

Bounce TV will start airing “The Cosby Show” again starting on Dec. 19.

The network said that many viewers wanted to see the show return to television and noted that most African-American viewers were able to draw the distinction between the disgraced comedian Bill Cosby and his television character of Cliff Huxtable.

“The Cosby Show” was pulled following many accusations of rape and sexual assault against the comedian as dozens of women came forward to accuse him.

The show as also banned on BET, Centric and TV Land.
