R. Kelly’s tax issues are only compounding as the singer has been hit with federal tax liens demanding that he pay back the millions he owes the government. If he does not pay the taxes that he owes, the government could seize his assets and property, according to the Jasmine Brand.

In October, R. Kelly was hit with a new federal tax lien that claimed he owed $2,327,444.58 from 2014, and he has recently been hit with another lien claiming a debt of $730,683.80 for 2013. A few months before that, he was hit with a lien for $191,614.35 for 2012.
