Donald Trump will be the only world leader to deny climate change is real

When Donald Trump is sworn is as the president of the United States, he will be the only world leader not to recognize that climate change is real.

According to a report released by the Sierra Club in July, the leaders of all 195 independent nations around the world all recognize the existence of climate change, meaning “if elected, Donald Trump would be the only world leader today to deny the science of climate change. In fact, a review of the data indicates that Trump might very well be the only world leader not calling for urgent climate action.”

Even leaders like Vladimir Putin of Russia and Kim Jong Un of North Korea have acknowledged the problem of global warming. North Korea has even signed the Paris accords dealing with the international push to combat climate change.

Meanwhile, Trump has called the Environmental Protection Agency a “disgrace,” wants to get rid of the Clean Power Plan and pull out of the Paris accords, and has publicly claimed that global warming is “created by and for the Chinese.” So when Trump takes office in January, he will be alone in the world of national leaders, with even the worst of dictators agreeing that this is a problem worth fighting.
