Trump family to move into White House after school year ends

President-elect Donald Trump confirmed that his wife and 10-year-old son will not move into the White House with him immediately upon his inauguration.

On Sunday, president-elect Donald Trump confirmed that his wife and 10-year-old son would not be moving into the White House with him immediately upon his inauguration but would stay in Trump Tower until their son Barron finished out the school year.

When asked by reporters when he expected Melania and Barron to move into the White House with him, Trump said, “Very soon. Right after he finishes school.”

Trump spokesman Jason Miller explained of the decision, “There’s obviously a sensitively to pulling their 10-year-old out of school in the middle of the school year. A more formal statement will be coming in the future.’’
