NBA player Channing Frye’s father dies on Thanksgiving, one month after mother passed
Channing Frye, the center for the Cleveland Cavaliers, will be out this season indefinitely as he is mourning the passing of both his mother and father.
“On a day for thanks. Be thankful for the person next to you. My father passed away today. Y’all better love on your family,” Frye wrote on Instagram on Thursday.
Frye’s father died on Thanksgiving Day, just a month after Frye’s mother, Karen Mulzac-Frye, died on October 27.
