Jerry Pagan confronted the as-yet-unidentified 68-year-old victim on Friday and told police that he was upset over an incident that had occurred when the two of them had consensual but unprotected sex. The argument escalated, and Pagan grabbed a hammer to bludgeon the older man in the head. He also stabbed the victim with scissors and cut off his penis with a razor blade.
Pagan then spent the next day at the victim’s house and even at one point left and returned to the scene.
Police discovered the body when they were responding to an assault report. The body had been placed in the bathtub, and his penis was in a plastic bag in the sink.
