Versace uses code word for black customers?

A former employee says one Versace store in the Bay Area has a code word that they use for black customers.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

A former employee says one Versace store in the Bay Area has a code word that they use for black customers.

In a lawsuit, he claims that the manager told him that the code to use was “D410” which, according to TMZ, is the same code they use for their all black shirts.

He replied, “You know that I’m African-American?”

After the exchange, the former worker says he was refused breaks and fired two weeks later. The suit alleges that he was told he lost his job because he hadn’t “lived the luxury life.”

He is suing for “unpaid wages and damages.” Versace has denied any wrongdoing and has filed a request to have the lawsuit dismissed.
