‘Black Magic’ creator disavows Vivica Fox after saying ‘hell no’ to gays

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Jean-Claude LaMarre, the director and producer of Black Magic, the male stripper show that Vivica A. Fox spun into a reality show after starring in his movie, Chocolate City, is not happy with Fox right now.

When Fox was asked about the suggestion that gays were coming to see her strippers, she replied with a strong “hell no!”

But LaMarre disagrees with her sentiment, and he has cut ties with the star, though he will remain executive producer of Black Magic.

“The comments were out of order, and it does not represent our attitudes toward the LGBT community. All are welcomed,” he told TMZ before adding, “Vivica speaks for herself not the business or the show.”

He went on to say that he hopes the show succeeds; he just doesn’t want to work with Fox anymore.
