Over the weekend, Aziz Ansari hosted Saturday Night Live, and during his opening monologue, he compared people who voted for Donald Trump to people who listen to Chris Brown’s music.

“I’m sure there’s a lot of people [who] voted for Trump the same way a lot of people listen to the music of Chris Brown, where it’s like, ‘Hey, man! I’m just here for the tunes. I’m just here for the tunes! I don’t know about that other stuff. I just like the dancing and the music. I don’t condone the extracurriculars’. If you think about it, Donald Trump is basically the Chris Brown of politics. And ‘Make Ameriaca Great Again’ is his ‘These hoes ain’t loyal,’” Ansari joked during his monologue.

Brown took to Instagram to clap back at the joke, and he also dropped a Shade Room headline with the caption, “F*** NO!!!!!! Somebody tell ALADDIN HOP OFF MY D***!”

Of course, Twitter users were quick to drag Brown for his response, especially pointing out that responding to Ansari by calling him “Aladdin” was absolutely not going to help him distance himself from Trump.
