BET is fresh off their New Edition biopic high, and their parent company, Viacom, is already looking for another one.
This time, the biopic will reportedly focus on Jodeci, Mr. Dalvin, who is part of the group, confirmed:
“That’s in the works already,” Mr. Dalvin said. “They started the process last September — we just finished the script and we’re going into production next month, so we’re looking at an end of the year release.”
The biopic comes after BET enjoyed huge success with The New Edition Story, bringing in record ratings as the first and third parts were the highest-rated and most-watched telecasts in five years.
No other details are available yet about the Jodeci biopic, but casting inquiries are expected to be announced soon.
