Ex-NFL star arrested while trying to break into a home naked

Stanley Wilson II, a former cornerback for the Lion, was arrested on Saturday after trying to break into a home. When police arrived, Wilson had no clothes on.

A 911 caller reported that Wilson was making “alarming statements” to a homeowner who was standing in the garage. The homeowner reportedly felt that Wilson was “acting erratically” and closed the garage, at which point Wilson allegedly tried to get into the house through both the front and rear doors but was unsuccessful.

According to police, Wilson came out of a shed in the backyard with no clothes on, but other than that, he was reportedly cooperative with police.

This is the third time in less than a year that Wilson has been arrested. In June, he was arrested after trying to break into a house in Portland, Oregon, and he was charged with first-degree burglary, attempted first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct and aggravated harassment.

Police also found Wilson naked outside a Portland home, and while no new charges were added for the incident, police reported that he appeared to be high and in a state of distress. In January, he was ordered to undergo drug counseling.
