Philando Castile’s girlfriend arrested
Diamond Reynolds, the woman who recorded her boyfriend, Philando Castile’s, death during a traffic stop last year, was arrested for assault on Friday.
Reynolds and two other women were arrested Thursday, according to police spokesman Steve Linders. On Tuesday morning, a woman reported being attacked with a hammer and was hospitalized with serious injuries but was still able to identify her three alleged attackers.

The criminal complaint states that Reynolds hit the woman in the head with a hammer and continued to hit her in the head with the hammer after the woman had fallen to the ground. Reynolds also allegedly smashed the windshield of the woman’s car.
Reynolds has since been charged in Ramsey County with two felony counts of assault, and her bail was set at $90,000, with her first court appearance scheduled for Monday.
