Bill O’Reilly ratings soar after sexual harassment allegations

According to USA Today, "The O'Reilly Factor" enjoyed a ratings bump of 14 percent the week after Fox News and the TV host paid millions in harassment case.

Despite the fact that advertisers have been running from Bill O’Reilly in the wake of his sexual harassment allegations, it seems that his viewers aren’t going anywhere and, in fact, have even given O’Reilly’s show a ratings bump since the allegations came out.

Recently, O’Reilly came under fire after it was reported that he and Fox had paid about $13 million in order to settle a suit concerning these allegations, and while there have been calls for the show’s cancellation, and advertisers have been fleeing, the opposite reaction seems to be occurring with O’Reilly’s viewers.

According to USA TodayO’Reilly enjoyed a ratings bump of 14 percent for his Monday and Tuesday shows, with 3.8 million people watching on Tuesday compared to 2.3 million for his top-rated show the previous week.
