Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Dominique Richardson had only been dating Taylor Holcombe, 22, for two weeks when he pulled a gun on her and shot her in the head before leaving her to die on the road.

He was driving her car on Oct. 24, 2015, when he pulled the gun, and a terrified Holcombe tried to escape by jumping out of the car.

“After crashing into a pole, the defendant exited the vehicle and chased his girlfriend down the street, shooting her once in the back of the head as she tried to escape,” the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release last week. “The victim collapsed in the roadway.”

While in the road, Holcombe was hit by a car, and Richardson left her there.

In late March, Richardson, 27, was convicted of murder and sentenced by Judge Mark Anthony Scott to life without parole, plus five years.
