BET announces new biopic ‘The Bobby Brown Story’

Following the success of The New Edition Story, BET is set to air new biopics, including The Bobby Brown Story for the 2017-2018 programming slate.

Following the success of The New Edition Story, BET Networks is bringing new biopics to the network, including The Bobby Brown Story and The Death Row Chronicles for their 2017-18 programming slate.

The Bobby Brown Story will explore not only the story of Brown’s career but also his personal life, with sex, drugs, and music all converging for a dramatic new biopic.

The Death Row Chronicles will focus on the rise of the record company behind Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, and Dr. Dre, delving into not only its successes but its controversial and bloody record. The program will be both a murder mystery and a drama, giving viewers a lot to look forward to.
