Janet Jackson’s estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, reportedly sent her over 100 roses and orchids for her 51st birthday.

“Janet and her husband are separated, but have a mutual love and admiration for each other,” a source close to Jackson’s family said, according to ET. “There doesn’t seem to be a reconciliation in the future, but never say never.”

It was a stunning gesture, though the source noted that Jackson “couldn’t ask for a better gift than her precious baby boy [Eissa].”

The source also noted that “birthdays are important milestones” for Jackson’s family and were especially a big deal when her brother Michael was alive. “Michael made it a point to give elaborate gifts and enjoy parties,” the source said. “Paris and Prince always had big birthdays because Michael grew up always wanting parties.”

In addition to birthday news, ET also recently reported a source as saying that Jackson was preparing for her upcoming tour and would “begin rigorously dieting” in order to prepare.

“She’ll be coming out full force and unrestricted,” the source said. “Janet will begin rigorously dieting. She wants to look her best for herself and her fans.”
