Rashad McCants believes that his relationship with Khloé Kardashian cost him his NBA career, which only lasted for five seasons.

McCants, who broke up with Kardashian last February, believes that “without that situation in play, I’m at $60-70 million, easily,” though there is some question as to the validity of that, as he was a 14th round draft pick for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2005 and only played four seasons with them before being traded to the Sacramento Kings in 2009.

Shortly after, he was signed with the Houston Rockets and then the Dallas Mavericks, but he was eventually released and now bounces around different international leagues, currently playing for the Trotamundos de Carabobo of Venezuela as of 2015.

Since ending the relationship with Kardashian, McCants has opened up about how he didn’t like the media circus that followed the Kardashian clan around.

“I feel like it was for no reason. I wasn’t getting anything out of it except my name out there and my face out there, and I don’t need that,” Harden told Sports Illustrated in March. “I wasn’t uncomfortable, but it wasn’t me. I don’t need pictures of myself when I’m driving my car. Who cares? What shoes am I wearing? Who cares? Where am I eating? Who cares? It was unnecessary stuff that I think trickled down to my teammates. I had to eliminate that.”
