Though the hit drama Power is currently set to premiere its fourth season, executive producer and star 50 Cent has revealed when the series will ultimately end.

“I was telling [executives] in the very beginning, when they talked about how long do you think the series is going to last, I said seven,” 50, real name Curtis Jackson, told ABC News. “It’s going to go seven.”

Though the premature announcement of the show’s end will certainly have fans bummed, they can have solace in knowing the show still has a few more seasons left, with season four premiering on Sunday.

Fans will get to see the aftermath of Omari Hardwick‘s character, James St. Patrick aka Ghost, being sent to prison for a murder he did not commit, and being arrested by his own girlfriend, Angela Valdez, played by Lela Loren.

50 cent, who plays Ghosts nemesis Kanan, will also be a returning this upcoming season.
