It looks like LL Cool J is giving up on his earlier quest to try to help Maia Campbell.
It looks like LL Cool J is giving up on his earlier quest to try to help his former In The House co-star Maia Campbell.
Recently, a video clip of Campbell surfaced and began to circulate online showing a disheveled Campbell wearing nothing but a bra and underwear and saying, at one point in the video, “I want some crack.”
Several people expressed their concern, including LL Cool J, who posted on social media: “If anyone has a contact on Maia pls let me know …”

But now, it looks like he isn’t going to help her after all, after a recent post reading, “You can’t help someone who doesn’t want your help.”

It’s not a direct reference to Campbell, but the cryptic message can certainly be taken that way, especially since Campbell posted a video of herself in a barber shop where she is temporarily working to address LL Cool J specifically, saying that she does not need any help. She claimed that if he wanted to help, then he could help her put together a benefit concert for mental health, but otherwise, he had her mother’s number if he wanted to contact her.
“Don’t call me. I’ll call you,” she told anyone who wanted to get in touch with her in the video.
