Twitter celebrates Obama’s 56th birthday with #ObamaDay

Though it’s been over six months since Barack Obama has been in office, he’s somehow managed to remain relevant to many people all over the world. Today, Aug. 4th, marks Obama’s 56th birthday, a day that Twitter seems to be referring to as a national holiday known as #ObamaDay.

For the first time in 8 years, Obama is spending his day as an ordinary public citizen. Last year, the 44th President went all out and had a huge birthday bash at the White House where he had an outstanding celebrity guest list. The star-studded guest list included John Legend, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Alfre Woodard, Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder and many more.

This year the former President is playing it low-key and enjoying his annual family vacation at Martha’s Vineyard for his 56th birthday.
