Chad Ochocinco: White supremacists need hugs
Chad Ochocinco believes that the best way to fight white supremacy is through, simply, loving those who are part of the KKK or the neo-Nazi movement.
“You know what the white supremacists need? They need some f*cking love from me,” Ocho said, according to TMZ Sports. “Matter of fact, the next rally … let me know and I’ll show up. I walk through there hugging and kissing everybody.”
“You know how you fight aggressiveness? With love. Love,” he continued. “Could you imagine me? The only f*cking black guy at the Klan rally with a shirt that says, ‘I love you?’ And I would do it.”
Recently, the country has been torn apart in the fallout from the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, this weekend. White nationalists and neo-Nazis were seen uniting under the “Unite the Right” rally banner to protest the removal of a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee. One white nationalist allegedly rammed his car into a group of counter protesters, killing one woman and injuring around 20 others.
