The Nebraska Cornhuskers might currently be unranked in the ESPN preseason poll but the team still scored big when their head coach surprised them with Kendrick Lamar tickets.

The team posted a video to their official Twitter account showing head coach Mike Riley talking to the team before letting them in on the surprise.

“I’ve been looking at this for a few days, talking to the coaches and studying it,” Riley said. “And we think—and I really believe—that you should have the day off. I’ve got one more thing for you.”

Rest days are offered during the preseason “two-a-day” practices to reward the players for all their hard work. As soon as the team saw they were getting the tickets they were thrilled.

They cheered and clapped as a Kendrick Lamar song played in the background. A few got so excited they jumped up to hug the coach.

In 2016 the Cornhuskers posted a 9-4 record.
